If question # 1 has Part A, B, & C, then you only have approximately 4 minutes for each part.
Example # 1
Notice how they will ask for one supporting piece of evidence and also a contradictory piece of evidence.
Also, pay attention to the wording of "ONE"
You only have to describe "ONE" of the bullets for each part. Part B requires you to select a different bullet than you chose for Part A.
Remember to always use complete sentences on all writing pieces. NO BULLET POINTS.
Example # 2
Key Skill: Periodization (Identify the Time Period)
Remember to write 2-3 sentences for each part. You either get the point for the part or you don't! Don't waste your time writing 5+ sentences. There is no extra credit.
Example # 3
Realize that you may not recognize the name of a person citing the passage. Don't give up here!
Identify the topic...such as Western Frontier Expansion or Manifest Destiny
Incorporate the knowledge you already have about the people to explain difficult to understand passages.
Example # 4
Periodization is important!
Understand the main themes that are associated with each period.
